Sync Features

Sync keeps your learning data consistent across every device you sign in on, so you can pick up where you left off on any of them.

What Syncs

The following data is automatically synchronized across devices:

  • Media library and playback records
  • Vocabulary and flashcard progress
  • Recordings and learning records
  • Settings and preferences

Sync runs in the background whenever data changes — no manual trigger required. You can also start a sync manually, check status, and resolve conflicts from the sync panel.

Cross-Device Usage

Use Enjoy on computers, phones, and tablets; all devices stay consistent, and you can switch between them seamlessly. From the sync panel you can view connected devices, manage their permissions, and remove ones you no longer use.

Sync Settings

  • Choose which data types to sync
  • Set sync frequency
  • Configure network usage

Offline Mode

Offline changes sync the next time you reconnect. Most conflicts are resolved automatically; for complex cases you'll be prompted to choose which version to keep.

Data Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Important data is automatically backed up, with manual backup and restore available for users who want extra control.

Troubleshooting

If sync isn't working:

  1. Check your network connection
  2. Confirm you're signed in
  3. Try a manual sync
  4. Clear cache and retry

Tips

  • Keep a stable network connection during heavy activity
  • Periodically verify sync status so problems don't go unnoticed
  • Manually back up important data before major changes
  • Avoid running large operations (bulk imports, mass vocabulary edits) on multiple devices at the same time
