What is Shadow Reading
Shadow reading is a language learning method that improves pronunciation by repeatedly listening and imitating the original audio. The system records your pronunciation and compares it with the original, providing detailed feedback.
Starting Shadow Reading
Selecting Learning Segment
- Select a subtitle segment in the player
- Click "Shadow Reading" button or use shortcut
- The system will play the segment and prepare for recording
Recording
- Click record button to start recording
- Follow the original audio and read the selected segment
- Click stop button after recording is complete
Recording Playback and Comparison
Playback
- Can immediately playback after recording
- Compare original audio with your recording
- Can record multiple times for comparison
