Recording & Pronunciation Assessment

Recording function lets you record your pronunciation, and the system provides detailed pronunciation assessment and improvement suggestions.

Recording Function

Starting Recording

  1. Select a subtitle segment in sidepanel
  2. Click record button
  3. Allow browser to access microphone
  4. Start reading selected content
  5. Click stop button to end recording

Recording Controls

  • Start/Stop - Click record button
  • Pause/Resume - Pause and resume recording
  • Re-record - Delete current recording and start again

Pronunciation Assessment

Assessment Metrics

System analyzes your pronunciation and provides:

  • Pronunciation Accuracy - Phoneme-level accuracy analysis
  • Fluency - Speech rate and pause analysis
  • Pitch - Pitch curve comparison
  • Stress - Word stress position analysis

Viewing Assessment Results

  • Assessment results displayed as visual charts
  • Pitch contour chart shows original and recording comparison
  • Detailed text descriptions help understand results

Viewing Pitch Chart

  1. After completing recording
  2. View pronunciation assessment results
  3. Click "Pitch Contour Chart" tab
  4. View pitch comparison chart
