Echo Mode
Echo Mode is one of the core features of Enjoy Extension, helping you practice pronunciation repeatedly through segment loop playback.
What is Echo Mode
Echo Mode is a shadow reading learning mode that:
- Loops playback within selected subtitle segments
- Lets you listen and imitate repeatedly
- Supports recording comparison
- Helps improve pronunciation ability
Enabling Echo Mode
Basic Operations
- Select a subtitle segment in sidepanel
- Click Echo Mode button (A-B icon)
- Or press
Ekey to enable Echo Mode - Video will loop within selected segment
Selecting Segment
- Click subtitle line to select single sentence
- Use
[and]keys to expand segment - Use
{and}keys to contract segment - Segment will be highlighted
Using Echo Mode
Loop Playback
- Video will loop within selected segment
- Automatically pauses at segment end
- Press spacebar or play button to replay
Adjusting Segment
- Expand Segment - Use
[key to expand forward,]key to expand backward - Contract Segment - Use
{key to contract from start,}key to contract from end - Segment range updates in real-time
Recording Comparison
- Click record button while segment is playing
- Follow original audio and read
- Can playback and compare after recording
- View pronunciation assessment
